Leicester City defender, Daniel Amartey has been given a call-up by coach CK Akonnor for the upcoming international friendly matches against Morocco and Ivory Coast in June.
The former FC Copenhagen man has been out for a long time due to injury concerns but has showed his mettle after returning from the horrible injury.
Amartey, an English Premier League winner has not been involved in Ghana games in a long while but will now have the chance to play for the senior national team next month.
The Leicester City defender is part of the 30-man squad released by CK Akonnor and could feature against Morocco and Ivory Coast when Ghana plays them on June 8 and 12 in a friendly match.
