Ghanaian youth international Leonard Owusu is not happy about Vancouver Whitecaps 4-3 defeat to San Jose Earthquakes despite putting up a man of the match performance on Wednesday night.
Owusu who was making his full debut for Whitecaps was deployed as a deep-lying playmaker by coach Marc Dos Santos and he did a fantastic job by dictating the pace of the game.
The former Dreams FC skipper served as the link between the defence and attack as his output pushed his team forward.
The mercurial midfielder is already hoping for a better results as they go back to the drawing board and correct their mistakes.
“Gutted about last nights results. We learn from our mistakes and put in a better performance next game.STILLBELIEVE.” He tweeted.
Owusu has made three MLS appearances this season since his move from Israeli outfit Ashdod FC earlier this year.
