Obuasi Ashantigold SC went to Sogakope to beat Dansoman Liberty Professionals FC in the week 30 clash of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season.

Liberty started the game on a fine note dictating the pace and tempo of the match with some delightful football on display.

After the home team got their goal, the Miners took over possession and played beautiful football with purpose creating all sort of problems for the hosts.
Right-back Amos Kofi Nkrumah found the back of the net for the away team after the 34th minute mark to draw them level as their enormous pressure finally yielding dividends.
Four minutes later, In-form midfielder David Abagna Sandan scored a beautiful goal to put the Yellow and Blacks in the lead with just 11 minutes to the end of the first half.
Into dying stages of the first period of the match, Amos Addai scored a nice goal to make 3-1 and gave the away team a breathing space before the break.
Diminutive attacker and former West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC graduate, Seth Osei scored the fourth goal for Ashantigold SC on the 60th minute mark to put the match beyond the reach of the home team with 30 minutes left on the clock.
Five minutes later, defender Frank Akoto popped up with a sumptuous header to make it an emphatic 5-1 lead for the away team after 65 minutes of the game played at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope.
The home team looked stunned after the fifth goal and could not found their way back into the game as it ended 5-1 to the visitors.
Liberty are stuck in 17th position after today’s defeat with 32 points as Ashantigold SC move 9th on the league table after 30 games with 40 points.
