FC Metz of John Boye are still without a win after two matches into the new Ligue 1 season as the team of Vincent Hognon were beaten at Lille on Sunday.
It was match-day two and the Ghanaian defender who is captain of his side were expecting to pick some points on the road following the opening day home defeat against AS Monaco.
Boye started and completed the game as he played in a three-man defence that consisted of Fofana Mamadou of Mali and Tunisian Dylan Bronn but Lille won 1-0.
Metz travels next to PSG on Wednesday, September 16th in what is expected to be another difficult yet tricky encounter following Parisiens two defeats in a row at the start of the season.
