Out going Black Stars Coach Avram Grant wants Kwesi Nyantakyi to be maintained as the President of the Ghana Football Association.
Nyantakyi has come under barrage of criticisms after the Black Stars abysmal performance at the just ended Africa Cup of Nations.
Many pundits believe the owner and bank-roller of Wa All Stars 12-year reign as GFA president has destroyed Ghana football as the various National teams have seen no improvement hence should resign.
But speaking to Bola Ray on Starr chat on Wednesday, Grant insists Nyantakyi is a great man and must be given the opportunity to stay on the job.
“Kwesi Nyantakyi is a great guy and need support from government, I will like Ghanaians to maintain him as the Football Association President,” he told Starr FM.
“He has done a lot for the country and I believe with support from the Nation he will really do more for country”.
“He is a hard working guy and wants to do his best for his country so it will be good if he stays at the position.”
