Ghanaian Midfielder, Majeed Ashimeru has penned a heartfelt message to his ex-club RB Salzburg, following his permanent departure to the Belgian Pro League.
The Ghanaian international signed a permanent deal with Belgian side RSC Anderlecht ahead of the 2021/2022 season.
The former West African Football Academy (WAFA SC) graduate joined the Purple and Whites from Salzburg on a year loan with an option to make the deal permanent based on the output of the young lad.

“Majeed Ashimeru is leaving our club and moving permanently to RSC Anderlecht, where he was already on loan last season.” said the Austrian club.
The 23-year old midfielder joined Red Bulls in the summer of 2017 and has since played on loan for Austria Lustenau, RZ Pellets WAC and FC St. Gallen.
The former WAFA star played a total of 42 games in which he scored three goals and also eight provided assists.

Ashimeru made 11 league appearances for Anderlecht last season, scoring one goal to his name.
