Ghana midfielder Majeed Ashimeru was on target for his side St. Gallen who recorded an emphatic 3-1 win over FC Zurich on Wednesday in the Swiss Top- flight league.
The match which was originally scheduled to be played last Sunday had robe called off due to massive snowfall.
Simone Rapp opened the scoring for St Gallen after 13th minute mark before completing his brace in the 55th minute with a calm finish.
Ashimeru, made his presence on the pitch felt when he struck on the 71st minute to help his side secure a commanding 3-1 win over FC Zurich at home.
The former WAFA star has so scored two goals for St. Gallen this season.
The only consolation goal for FC Zurich came through Stephen Odey in the 76th minute.
His compatriot Musah Nuhu however, made his debut for St. Gallen as they clinched all three points in the game.
Nuhu, enjoyed full throttle for St. Gallen.
