Executive Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dr. Kwame Kyei has urged the playing body to put Wednesday’s 2-0 loss to WAFA behind and quickly bounce back to winning ways in their next Ghana Premier League week 25 fixture against already relegated side Bolga All Stars.
Kotoko host struggling Premier League debutants Bolga All Stars on Sunday at the Kuamsi Baba Yara sports stadium.
Steve Pollack’s side were whipped 2-0 by Sogakope based West African Football Academy [WAFA] in the Ghana Premier League week 24 outstanding fixture courtesy a goal each by Prince Ampem and Daniel Lomotey at the Red Bull Arena.
In a brief chat with the players after Wednesday’s match, Dr. Kyei said ”Don’t give up but rather make the fans happy on Sunday against Bolga All Stars”.
He added ” We’re all in this together and I hope you bounce back and beat Bolga All Stars Sunday in Kumasi to make the fans happy.
Striker Saddick Adams who missed the team’s trip to Sogakope due to slight injury would be hoping to make a quick return to Steve Pollack’s team in their quest to humiliate Bolga All Stars in their next home game.
