Dutch giants AFC Ajax Amsterdam coach, Erik ten Hag has stated that both himself and the club’s director of football, Marc Overmars are still interested in keeping Brian Brobbey.

He further stated that, though he wants to keep the 19-year-old striker at the club but he wouldn’t be able to tell if the young man regrets making a move to Germany.
“I don’t know if Brobbey regrets going to Leipzig. Although he made his choice, Marc and I still want to ‘keep’ him in our squad.
The Ajax coach also said the player is and would be welcomed to stay at the club because they are aware of what he brings on board and also fit in perfectly in the team’s setup.
“Briam is welcome to stay, we know what he can bring as a player, but also as an individual. He’s a good fit”, Erik ten Hag told NOS.
The Ghanaian forward signed a four-year deal with the DieRotenBullen side but there has been a wide range of media reports suggesting the young man’s interest in joining the club has vanished after head coach Julian Nagelsmann and sporting director Markus Krosche decided to leave the club.
