Former Black Meteors goalkeeper Isaac Amoako has given a hint of what Kumasi Asante Kotoko players should expect from new coach Mariano Barreto.
Amoako was part of Barreto’s Ghana Under 23 team which qualified for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and he is confident the Portuguese gaffer will take the “Porcupine Warriors” to a higher level.
“Mariano Barreto is a coach who ensures the physical well-being of his players.He’s hard working and doesn’t entertain laziness”.Amoako told Sikka Sports
“His personal relationship is one that is very cordial. He will have a positive impact on the kotoko team.” He added.
Amoako is currently pursuing a a General coaching course after retiring from football in 2019.
