New Edubiase United, a team competing in the Ghana Division One League, has undertaken a significant restructuring exercise by releasing 21 players following a season of underwhelming performances.
The former winners of the FA Cup are determined to bolster their squad with quality players for the upcoming Division One League season, as they aim to secure promotion back to the Ghana Premier League.
Unfortunately, the club based in Edubiase has decided to part ways with 21 players who failed to impress during the recently concluded season.
In an interview with Asempa FM, Jacob Abdul Salam, the President of the club, stated, “We are seeking to qualify next season and as a matter of that management has released 21 players who cannot help up because they didn’t show much seriousness”
After Nations FC claimed the sole slot in the zone, the former FA Cup Champions finished in mid-table position.
Edubiase’s last appearance in the Ghana Premier League dates back to seven seasons ago.
