In matchday 25 of the Ghana Premier League, Aduana Stars took advantage of playing at home to defeat Tamale City 1-0 and break their streak of poor form.
Although both teams had many chances to score in the first half at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa, the score remained tied at zero.
However, in the dying minutes of the game, Isaac Mintah scored the decisive goal, securing the victory for Aduana Stars and putting their title challenge back on track following a mid-week draw with Berekum Chelsea.
Aduana Stars maintained their position at the top of the league table with 44 points, while Tamale City dropped to the relegation zone with 28 points after 25 games, currently sitting in 16th place.
