New goalkeeper for Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities FC, Eric Ofori Antwi has described coach Maxwell Konadu as a father figure to him after his outing with the club.
Antwi was in goal when his side drew 0-0 with Accra Hearts of Oak SC on Sunday afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium in the GPL season opener.
Speaking to the media after the match, Antwi stated that the Royals gaffer is like his father and always gives him confidence to perform and also believes in his abilities.
“Maxwell Konadu is more than a father to me. He has always believed in me and gave me the confidence to excel”, he said.
He went ahead to dedicate his Man-Of-The-Match award to the former Asante Kotoko and Black Stars player after the game.
