The 48-year-old coach has revealed his target for next season in the Ghana Premier League.
Konadu who currently heads the technical team of the Ghana U17 male team was appointed strategically to help the Royals survive relegation with just three games to end the 2020-21 season despite seasoned Bashir Hayford being in charge.

Indeed, the former Black Stars B coach guided the club to maintain its spot in the league with having made a great comeback to defeat Techiman Eleven Wonders by 3-2 on the last day, a victory which guaranteed their stay in the domestic league.
In an interview with Kumasi-based Nhyira FM, coach Maxwell Konadu mentioned that his target for the upcoming campaign is to make a top eight finish and will target the best four the following season and has also commended everyone at the club for their stay in the league. He said;
‘Everybody at Legon Cities were involved in our relegation survival including even our drivers and cooks.’
‘I signed a three-year contract and my target for next season is to be in the top 8 and move to top 4 the following season.”
