Medeama SC bounced back to winning ways after defeating struggling Legon Cities by 2-1 on Sunday during Week 20 of the Ghana Premier League as Joseph Adjei of the visitors was shown a straight red card at the stroke of half time for a career-threatening launched at Justice Blay.
The Yellow and Mauves took the lead in the 23rd minute through striker Prince Opoku Agyemang before the team of Bashiru Hayford equalized ten minutes from time thanks to a good effort by Issaka Mohammed.
The home team increased the pressure on their opponents and were rewarded with the winner in the 83rd minute.
Midfielder Justice Blay left the game at half time after suffering a serious injury and his offender Joseph Adjei was shown the exit immediately.
