Ibrahim Tanko, head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, has expressed confidence in his team’s readiness ahead of their MTN FA Cup quarterfinal clash against Attram De Visser.
The match is scheduled to take place at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday as Medeama aim to secure a place in the semifinals of the competition.
The Medeama coach indicated that the majority of his squad is fully prepared for the important encounter, despite a few players being unavailable due to injuries and personal matters.
Ibrahim Tanko explained that Emmanuel and Asmah are currently sidelined with injuries, while Prince Owusu has been excused temporarily to attend to a family issue. However, he noted that the rest of the players are in good condition and ready for the match.
He expressed confidence that the team will rely on its experience and determination to overcome the lower-division side as they continue their pursuit of success in this season’s FA Cup.
The quarterfinal fixture between Medeama and Attram De Visser will be officiated by referee Selorm Yao Bless.
