Head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Ibrahim Tanko, has expressed strong confidence ahead of his side’s upcoming Ghana Premier League clash against Accra Hearts of Oak. The match, scheduled for Sunday, April 6, at the Tuba Astro Turf, is expected to be a thrilling encounter.
Coach Tanko believes his team is well-prepared and highly motivated to secure all three points. He noted that Hearts of Oak’s recent 1-0 loss to Nations FC could affect their morale and give Medeama the edge going into the game.
“Our next game is against Accra Hearts of Oak. We are preparing very well so that we will get our points as well,” Tanko told Medi TV on Thursday. “They are playing today and I think we have two days more rest. Definitely it’s good for us so we are going to prepare very well and go and face them.”
He further stated that the timing and outcome of Hearts of Oak’s recent game play into his team’s hands. “I heard they are playing today and they are one goal down. It’s not good morale for them so we are going to use that as a motivation for our team so that we will get something out of there,” he added.
The much-anticipated match between Medeama SC and Hearts of Oak will kick off at 3:00 PM and is expected to draw a large crowd.
