Ghana Premier League leaders Medeama SC have bolstered their squad after completing the signing of Ghanaian defender Victor Oduro during the second transfer window of the 2025/26 season.
The Tarkwa-based side moved swiftly into the market following the departure of right-back Kamaradini Mamudu, who recently sealed a transfer to Sudanese giants Al Hilal. Oduro has been brought in as a direct replacement, strengthening the Mauves and Yellows’ options on the right side of defence.
The 24-year-old joins Medeama on a three-year deal as a free agent after parting ways with Nations FC.
Oduro brings valuable domestic experience, having previously featured for Dreams FC, where he was part of the squad that lifted the 2023 MTN FA Cup, before switching to Nations FC ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
With his pace, defensive awareness, and ability to contribute going forward, Oduro is expected to add competition, depth, and tactical flexibility to Medeama’s backline as the club intensifies its push for a domestic double this season.
