Medeama, the reigning Ghana Premier League champions, bid farewell to midfielder Jean Vital Ourega, marking the end of his tenure with the club.

After joining in 2022, the Ivorian, aged 28, played a pivotal role in Medeama’s recent successes, including clinching the 2022-23 Ghana Premier League title and reaching the group stage of the CAF Champions League.

In a mutual agreement, Vital and the club terminated his contract, acknowledging his significant contributions on and off the field.

Having previously showcased his talents with Karela United, Vital’s dynamic style of play earned him recognition, tallying 35 appearances, 3 goals, 13 assists, and 4 MVP awards.

His diverse career spans across various African leagues, including stints with Congolese giants TP Mazembe, Zambian outfit Buildcon FC, and Ivorian sides African Sports and AS Denguele, among others.

Medeama expressed gratitude for Vital’s dedication and wished him success in his future endeavors.
