Medeama SC has finally secured a return to their own stadium, as they have submitted the T & A Stadium as their main venue for the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The former Ghanaian champions have been forced to play away from home since 2019, but with the newly commissioned stadium now ready, they are eager to host their home matches in their new home.

The T & A Stadium, funded by Gold Fields, boasts a capacity of 10,000 and features modern facilities and a top-quality pitch. Medeama has officially submitted it to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) as their main venue, with Akoon Community Park serving as their alternative venue. The club will also use Umat Park for training.

The GFA’s licensing process will now begin, reviewing and inspecting the submitted venues to finalize decisions on match venues. Venues may be approved, conditionally approved, or rejected based on the inspections. The GFA will soon announce the inspection schedule and the status of all submitted venues.

Medeama will be notified of any necessary adjustments in line with the GFA Stadium Regulations before the scheduled inspections, set to take place from August 8 to 21, 2024.
