FC Metz president Bernard Serin says Ghanaian defender John Boye will be allowed to leave the club if a good offer comes.
The French side are bent on offering Boye a new one-year deal with his current contract set to expire next month but Serin insists if any team can give the Ghanaian a three-year deal, they will make him move.
“We have a commitment: given his age and the services rendered, if a club offers him a three-year contract, he can leave because, on our side, we will not offer such an extension. But we want him to come back for a season with us. ” Serin told Republicain-Lorraine in relations to Boye.
Boye, 34, played 35 Ligue 1 games scoring one goal as Metz finished tenth on the log.
