The former Ghana star midfielder provided a masterclass performance on the day as he showed what he used to do on the field with ease.
In the first half of the match, Essien scored a sumptuous header after a give and go passes between him and Ramirez to score his goal for the Blues.
He also gave Thiago Mendes a sweet assist to find the back of the net as Chelsea won 4-0 against the Germans in Charity game.
