English-born Ghanaian forward Michae Folivi climbed off the bench on Tuesday night to net a consolation goal for Colchester United who were annihilated by six goals to one by Exeter City in a League Two game.
The one-sided game saw the host dominating from the start to the end at the St. James Park as Colchester were left chasing shadows.
Exeter led 1-0 in the first half but opened fire on Colchester after recess with Ryan Bowmann netting a hat-trick whilst Matt Jay also completed a brace and Joel Randall adding another.
Folivi who was introduced into the game in the 46th minute fired in inside the penalty box to give Colchester a face-saving goal after he was beautifully set up by fellow substitute Harriott.
He has scored one goal and provided one assists in four League 2 games this season since his summer move from Wimbledon.
