Middlesbrough manager Neil Warnock has given a gist that he could sign Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu from Newcastle this window.
The Boro manager admits it might be a risk but he definitely needs a typical winger and might opt for the 28-year-old Ghanaian.
“I might just have a little gamble on something else as well, we’ve just got to get somebody wide who is direct and can take people on.” Warnock told Gazzette in relations to Atsu
“But beyond that, I might well have a gamble on another one. There’s a couple of players that I think, ‘Well, I might have a gamble on somebody like that’, just to help us to the end of the season.”
The Ghanaian has five months left on his Newcastle contract but has currently been frozen out of the first team.
