English Championship side Middlesbrough have cut short their interest in Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu after signing Yannick Bolasie on loan from Everton on Friday.
Middlesbrough boss Neil Warnock stated earlier this week that he was looking at some wingers for this window and reports were rife that Atsu was his main target.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that Middlesbrough were not ready to pay Newcastle 1.5 Million Pounds for the services of Atsu and have therefore gone for Yannick Bolasie on loan from Everton for a substantial amount.
The Ghanaian thus has few days to find a new club or continue to be in the cold at Newcastle until June when he can leave as a free agent.
