Accra Great Olympics captain, Gladson Awako has bid the club farewell ahead of his move to City rivals Accra Hearts of Oak SC.
The 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup winner has joined the Phobians on a two-year contract from the DADE club this summer.

The 30-year-old Ghanaian versatile midfielder was at his maximum best for the Blue and Whites outfit during the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season with superlative performances which led to his maiden Black Stars appearance.
Awako scored seven goals and provided eight assists in 31 games in the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season for Great Olympics and also won the NASCO Coach-Of-The-Month award two times.
He joined the Rainbow Boys ahead of the 2021-22 CAF Champions League competition and will start training with the club next week ahead of their game against Guinean side CI Kamsar on 12 September.
