Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has provided updates on the physical condition of Black Stars midfielder, Thomas Partey who has been out of action in the Gunners’ recent two games.
Thomas Partey was an unused substitute in Arsenal’s 2-2 drawn game against Chelsea on match day 9 of the Premier League at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
With many wondering why Thomas Partey didn’t in the games, Mikel Arteta after Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Sevilla said the Ghanaian picked up an injury during training.
“Thomas [Partey] picked up an injury yesterday in training, unfortunately it’s a muscle injury. We don’t know the extent of it. A big miss for us,” Mikel Arteta said.
Arsenal on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, defeated Sevilla 2-1 on match day 3 of the ongoing 2023/2024 UEFA Champions League to move on top of their group.
