Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus has been crowned Europe’s top dribbler of 2024 after a stellar year with West Ham United.
The Black Stars playmaker completed an unmatched 127 successful take-ons, making him the only player across Europe’s top five leagues to surpass the 100-dribble mark. Kudus outperformed Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal (96) and Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala (95) to claim the top spot.
Other notable names in the top 10 include Manchester City’s Savinho, Marseille’s Mason Greenwood, AC Milan’s Rafael Leão, and standout talents like Jeremy Doku, Florian Wirtz, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Albero Moreilo.
Consistency Despite Challenges
While West Ham United has faced difficulties in the English Premier League, Kudus has continued to shine. The former Ajax star has contributed three goals and one assist in 13 appearances this season, adding to his remarkable 20-goal involvement from the previous campaign.
Kudus’ dribbling prowess and creative abilities have solidified his reputation as one of Europe’s most electrifying midfielders, and his performances underline his vital role for both club and country.
