Ghana international Mohammed Kudus found the back of the net for West Ham United in a 4-1 victory over Ipswich Town, marking his first goal of the season. The midfielder played 86 minutes in the match, held at London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

West Ham United took an early lead when Michail Antonio scored just one minute into the game, but Ipswich responded quickly with an equalizer from Liam Delap in the 6th minute.

Kudus restored West Ham’s advantage before halftime, heading home his side’s second goal. This was a crucial moment for the Ghanaian midfielder, who had been struggling to find his form early in the season.

The Hammers continued to dominate in the second half, with Jarrod Bowen adding a third goal in the 49th minute. Lucas Paquetá sealed the win in the 69th minute, leaving no doubt about West Ham’s control over the match.

Kudus, who joined West Ham last season, now has one goal and an assist from eight appearances across all competitions this campaign. Following the end of his goal drought, he will be eager to build on this performance in the coming matches.

The 24-year-old midfielder is set to join Ghana’s national team for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The Black Stars will face Sudan in a doubleheader, with the first match scheduled at the Accra Sports Stadium on October 10, followed by the return fixture in Tripoli, Libya, on October 15.
