Ghana international Mohammed Kudus has capped off a dream debut for Tottenham Hotspur by earning a place in the Premier League Team of the Week.

The 25-year-old forward delivered a brilliant performance in Spurs’ commanding 3-0 victory over Burnley at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.

Kudus was at the heart of Tottenham’s attacking play, registering two assists that highlighted his vision, technical ability, and knack for unlocking stubborn defences. His sharp link-up play in the final third kept Burnley on the back foot and offered Spurs supporters an early glimpse of the quality he brings to Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Signed in the summer to bolster Tottenham’s attacking options, Kudus has wasted no time settling into life in the Premier League. His inclusion in WhoScored’s Team of the Week underlines just how quickly he has adapted to the English game.

After the match, Kudus expressed his joy at the competitive atmosphere in the Spurs squad and his determination to challenge for silverware this season.

His explosive start has already raised expectations among fans and pundits, with many tipping the Ghanaian to become one of the standout players in the league.

Kudus and Tottenham now prepare for a stern test when they travel to face Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, August 23.
