Ghana’s star boy Mohammed Kudus marked his return from injury with a debut Eredivisie goal for Ajax Amsterdam who whitewashed SC Heerenveen 5-1 on Sunday.
The Ghana international was handed a starting berth by manager Erik ten Hag after recovering from an injury he suffered before the international break.
Kudus who was making his third league debut for Ajax struck in the 35th-minute mark of the game after setting up Dusan Tadic to open the scoring in the 4th minute before grabbing a brace in the 28th minute from the spot.

Back from recess, Henk Veerman pulled one back for the visitors in the 66th minute but Davy Klaassen struck six minutes later from the spot following Rodney Kongolo’s foul to extend Ajax lead to 4-1 at the Johan Cruijff Arena.
Brazilian forward Antony Matheus dos Santos, who had come on to replace brace hero Dusan Tadic in the 62nd minute, added one three minutes from regulation time, wrapping up an emphatic 5-1 win for Ajax in their matchday five fixture.
