Former Ghana international Mohammed Polo popularly known as the ‘dribbling magician’ has launched a scathing attack on Black Stars B head Coach Maxwell Konadu insisting he is tactically bankrupt.
According to the former Hearts of Oak Coach, the lead led by Maxwell Konadu has gradually exposed himself to Ghanaians that he lacks an approach to matches let alone ‘reading games’ on the pitch to mount a strategy to beat his opponents when matches become tough.
Polo’s comments comes after Ghana shockingly lost 2-1 at home to Burkina-Faso in the second leg of the CHAN2018 Qualifiers despite picking a 2-2 draw in the first leg in Ouagadougou.
He believes Konadu’s inability to shorten the Burkinabes game plan on Sunday denied Ghana qualification to the CHAN tournament which will be held in Kenya next year.
‘’We had advantage over Burkina after drawing 2-2 with them in the first leg but we sat here to witness such a disgrace all because our coaches failed to adopt a better game plan to kill the match’’.
Speaking on Kumasi based Abusua FM, the vociferous Coach said ‘’Our Coaches didn’t do well in their selection if you ask me and I think that is what caused our downfall’’
