Ghanaian defenders Mohammed Salisu and Joseph Aidoo were in action for their respective clubs Real Valladolid and Celta Vigo on Wednesday night as both sides failed to score a goal in their Laliga fixture.
The two teams who who are all struggling to survive relegation in the Spanish top-flight drew goalless at the empty José Zorrilla Stadium in Valladolid.
The two Ghanaian internationals played the entire duration of the match for their respective clubs and put up an impressive performance to the satisfaction of their fans who watched the game on their screens.
Whoscored.com rated Salisu 7.2, making him the best player on the field on the side of Valladolid. He had a 85% pass success rate won two aerial battles
For Aidoo, on the other hand, scored a rating of 6.7. He, however, won three aerial battles with a pass success rate of 85%.
Salisu has played 28 matches while Aidoo has featured in 24 games in the 2019/20 season.
Meanwhile Salisu is currently being chased by English Premiership side Southampton as they hope to sign him in this Summer.
