Ghanaian international Mohammed Salisu took time out of his summer break to pay a private visit to former President John Dramani Mahama in Accra.
During the warm encounter, the AS Monaco defender presented the former leader with a signed Monaco jersey as a token of respect and appreciation. The gesture was well-received, with Mahama expressing pride in the young footballer’s achievements.
The former President encouraged Salisu to continue representing Ghana with pride, both in the Black Stars jersey and at the club level in Europe.
“Keep flying the Ghana flag high and be a proud ambassador of our country,” Mahama urged.
Salisu, known for his composure and strength at the back, has become an important figure in Ghana’s national team setup.
