Mozambique: Iddrisu Abdallah Wins Taca de Mocambique with Costa Do Sol

Ghanaian Striker Iddrisu Zibore Abdallah has capped off a remarkable first season in Mozambique with a Winners medal in the Taca de Mocambique.

The young striker joined top flight side Costa Do Sol at the beginning of the season and has made a great impact helping his side to cup triumph last Sunday.

They beat newly crowned league Champions UD Songo 1-0 in extra time at the Zinpeto Stadium in Maputo.

The former Bechem United forward, who was enroute to recovery from an injury came on as an extra time substitute and was instrumental in the build up to the goal that won Costa the trophy.

The Taca de Mocambique trophy triumph over UD Songo comes as a compensation for fans of Costa Do Sol after missing out on the league crown.

Costa finished second on the Mocambola log behind UD Songo in the 2017 Mozambique top flight campaign.
