Golden Kick FC head coach Fiifi Parker Hanson says his side is ready and confident heading into their highly anticipated MTN FA Cup final against giants Asante Kotoko.
Golden Kick have enjoyed a dream run in this year’s competition, eliminating Premier League outfits Karela United and Hearts of Oak en route to the final. For Hanson, those victories have given his team belief and the right level of experience to take on the Porcupine Warriors.
“Playing against Asante Kotoko in the MTN FA Cup final is not the biggest game we will play because we have already faced Hearts of Oak” -Fiifi Hanson Parker, Golden Kick head coach
The final is scheduled for this Sunday, June 16, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, with kickoff set for 17:00 GMT.
Beyond the trophy, both teams will be battling for a ticket to the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup, where they will have the chance to represent Ghana on the continental stage.
Despite being underdogs, Golden Kick have proven they can match up against the best. With momentum on their side, Hanson insists his team is focused and determined to make history.
