Popular sports presenter, Patrick Osei Agyeman known as Country Man Songo has come under attack from his own colleagues within the Multimedia group.
Under the umbrella of the same Media group, the controversial sports presenter has been slammed for throwing professionalism to the dogs by attacking the personality of the newly appointed assistant coach of the Black Stars John Painstil.
The unwarranted attack by the fire man has earned him a lawsuit including multimedia for giving him the platform to deliver such scathing attack.
During a radio session monitored by sports world Ghana in the studios of Luv Fm, his colleague, Delali Atiase did not mince words in his submission towards the unethical conduct of his workmate.
“This not the way we were going, I think that the language is bad it has to be condemned in all uncertain terms. You can attack the issues you don’t attack the personality , naked insults I don’t think is right it has to be condemned in no uncertain terms and who ever is listening to me can call Songo that this what am saying this morning and if I get him I will tell him in the face straight away that this is not journalism it is bad”
The Former West Ham player is demanding GHC 80 million Cedis in damages for defamatory comments made against him.
Veronica Commey, Chris Nimley, Saddick Adams, Angel Broadcasting Network and Omni Media limited have all been dragged into the lawsuit.
