Black Stars defender Jonathan Mensah has stated with the thorough experience of Sulley Ali Muntari and Kevin Prince Boateng, if they are invited to play for Ghana in the Upcoming AFCON it will help the nation’s course to win the ultimate.
Sulley Muntari and Kevin were slapped with indefinite suspensions following the Ghana’s Brazil 2014 Worldcup debacle.
The Dzamefe Commission also ordered for the nation not to call the two again to don the national Jersey unless they publicly apologize for their gross misconduct at the Worldcup.
“Kevin-Prince Boateng is a very good player. I know he would even want to play in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations tournament before the 2018 World Cup. If he deserves to be invited, why not?” Mensah told Pulse.com.gh.
“It’s up to the coach and management of the team to decide but I think every good player deserves the chance to play for the Black Stars.
“Same goes for Sulley Muntari, who can even help the team with his experience. I am open to their return if invited,” he added.
