Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari has hinted that he nearly signed for Galatasaray after winning the treble with Inter Milan in 2010.
Muntari who is currently a free agent mentioned that he was on his way to sign for the “Lions” but the deal failed at the last hour and he had to stay in Italy by signing for AC Milan
“After my success at Inter, I was almost going to Galatasaray, but the transfer did not take place. Galatasaray is a huge club.” Muntari told Pesindeyiz.

The 36-year-old central midfielder enjoyed huge success in European football where he featured for Udinese, Portsmouth, Inter Milan, AC Milan and a host of other teams.
