Orlando Pirates’ Edwin Gyimah expresses respect for Muhsin Ertugral after Soweto Derby with Chiefs
The Ghanaian defender is happy to be back on the pitch after sorting out his differences with Coach Muhsin Ertugral.
Gyimah and Ertugral were involved in a heated argument at Cape Town International Airport following Bucs’ 2-1 win at Ajax Cape Town on September 13.
The Ghanaian was subsequently dropped by Ertugral and still faces further disciplinary action from the club over the issue.
However, the duo have since made peace, with Gyimah reiterating his worth with a man-of-the-match display against Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto Derby stalemate at FNB Stadium on Saturday.
“Sometimes things happen for good reason or good cause,” says Gyimah.
“He is my father and at the end of the day I have to respect him.
“We don’t have any problems, we are free. He is very professional and I am professional too.
“We have put our differences aside,” insists Gyimah, who felt a draw was a fair result against Chiefs.
