Goalkeeper Frank Andoh says his aim is to help lift grassroots football in Ghana in future.
Andoh who took part in the recent GFA oraganised license D coaching course in Kumasi revealed that his ultimate motive of wanting to become a coach is to assist grassroots football move up.
“My aim is to develop the children at the grassroots football level.” Andoh told sportsworldghanana.com
“This is very important as the grassroots which is the basic level is where future stars are made. All our biggest players in recent years Stephen Appiah, Sulley Muntari, Michael Essien, John Mensah, Asamoah Gyan and others all were from spotted at this level.”
Andoh himself started his career from the grassroots level as he played for the now defunct Ashanti Gold Ajax Academy in Obuasi.
