Planners head coach Emmanuel Bulley has lauded his players for their impressive performance against Phar Rangers.
The Executioners staged a strong comeback to snatch a point at the Mampong Community Park and outclassed the hosts in the process.
Coach Bulley’s boys took the game to their hosts after Nicholas Osei Bonsu scored a stunner in the early embers of the first stanza. Planners calmed the tempo hoarded possession in their favour before levelling the scoring midway through the half through a Joshua Karbo deflected ball.
Bulley was full of praise for his boys at the final whistle.
“It was a really nice game from the lads. They placed their souls on the game and you could sense the desire to win and dominate our opponents,” he told plannersathleticclub.com.
Bulley’s Executioners have now gone five games unbeaten and have conceded just two goals from the five matches and scored seven.
He singled out left-back Emmanuel McCarthy for praise. “I was very impressed with his performance. He really did well and he is nearing the peak of his game.”
