Ghana international Mohammed Kudus has assured fans that his playing style will remain unchanged despite the managerial change at West Ham United.
The 23-year-old midfielder has been in impressive form under former manager David Moyes, scoring 14 goals across all competitions and winning the club’s goal of the season award.
With Julen Lopetegui taking over as the new head coach for the 2024/2025 campaign, Kudus is aware of the need to adapt to a different approach, but he is determined to maintain his individuality on the pitch.
In an interview at the Ghana Football Awards, Kudus emphasized his commitment to retaining his unique playing style, which has earned him recognition as the highest-scoring Ghanaian in the 2023/2024 Premier League season.
“I have to be able to adapt and be up for the various changes,” Kudus said. “But for me, my style of play will remain the same regardless of the manager in charge. Obviously, I will blend in depending on what the coach wants, and what will give the team results, but I will keep my style.”
Kudus’ determination to stay true to himself is a testament to his confidence in his abilities and his willingness to evolve as a player.
As West Ham United looks to build on their recent success, fans can expect Kudus to continue making an impact on the pitch with his signature style of play.
