Dutch striker of Ghanaian descent Myron Boadu was on target twice for AZ Alkmaar as they posted a comprehensive 4-1 away win against VVV-Venlo on Saturday in the Dutch Eredivisie.
Jesper Karlsson opened the scoring for the visitors after 15 minutes into the game but Christos Donis drew VVV-Venlo in the 24th-minute mark as the first half ended one apiece at Covebo Stadion – De Koel.
Back from recess, the away team picked a 2-1 lead after Haakon Evjen had found the back of the net in the 54th minute.
VVV-Venlo were, however, reduced to ten men in the 58th minute when Christiaan Kum was shown a red card for committing an unsporting offense.
Myron Boadu who has not been at his best form this season struck in the 64 and 85 minutes to propel r AZ Alkmaar to a 4-1 important away win.
Boadu, 20, has scored six goals in 18 league appearances this season for AZ.
