Dutch striker of Ghanaian descent Myron Boadu bagged a hat-trick for AZ Alkmaar as they defeat Feyenoord 4-2 in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday.
Marcos Senesi fired visitors Feyenoord ahead eight minutes into the game but Boadu restored parity for the hosts in the 22nd-minute mark.
Three minutes later after Boadu’s goal, Luis Sinisterra scored to put Feyenoord ahead again but Boadu again hit the back of the net four minutes from the break to level things up for AZ.
Back from recess, Boadu who was simply unplayable struck again for the third time to give the home side a 3-2 lead before Teun Koopmeiners converted a 76th minute penalty to seal a 4 – 2 victory for AZ Alkmaar.
Boadu, 20, has so far netted a total of 29 goals in his last two seasons.
