Belgium champions Club Brugge have intensified negotiations to sign Ghana international Nana Opoku Ampomah, according to media reports in Belgium.
The Ghanaian international who has failed to enjoy more playing time at German side Fortuna Dusseldorf could make a quick return to Belgium after just a season in Germany.
Ampomah’s former manager at Waasland Beveren Philippe Clement is interested in reuniting with the 24-year old at Club Brugge.
Phillipe Clement tried signing the player when he moved to RC Genk, but a last minute collapse saw the play stay at Waasland.
Club Brugge want to sign the speedster as replacement for Kreppin Diatta and Emmanuel Dennis who are exiting the club.
Ampomah has only managed 12 appearances for Dusseldorf in the 2019/2020 season.
