Nana Kweku Agyemang has thrown his support behind young talent Jamil Abubakar following his inclusion in the Black Starlets setup.

“If he picks up and he’s better than those who are then why not..the fact that he’s Ghanaian and has joined them here speaks volumes,” he stated while praising the youngster’s decision to commit to the national youth team.

His remarks come amid discussions about the selection of players for Ghana’s under-17 team. Nana Kweku Agyemang emphasised that performance and merit should always be the key factors in player selection, adding that nationality and commitment to the country should also be appreciated.

Jamil Abubakar’s arrival into the Black Starlets camp has generated excitement among football followers, with many hopeful that he can make a strong impact. The comments highlight growing optimism that the young player can prove himself and earn his place in the squad through hard work and consistency.
