Misr El-Maqassa have announced that the club’s striker Nana Poku is currently undergoing his medical tests in Dubai to finalize the awaited move to Al-Shabab in January.
As Kingfut exclusively reported, the Egyptian premier League top scorer is set to join his new club in the January transfer window.
“The player received a number of offers in the past period, we see him close to moving to Al-Shabab in January,” said Maqassa’s president Mohamed Abdel-Salam in radio comments. He also confirmed that Al Ahly and Zamalek both thought about buying the player before.
“We asked for $1,500,000 to sell Nana Poku to the Emirati team,” he added.
The Ghanaian striker is set to replace Dutch forward Ruud Boymans in Al-Shabab who only joined the team last June.
