Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has shown his gratitude towards the fans of the club following their impressive turnout for the club’s return at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Kotoko returned to their home ground after 629 days, as they beat Bechem United by two goals to nil to secure their second win in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors saw two late goals from Ismail Abdul Ganiyu and Samuel Boateng send them to the top of the Premier League after two games played.
Following their victory, the club’s CEO took to Twitter to express appreciation to the fans who made it a point to be at the stadium and show their support to the team.
