The National Sports Authority (NSA) and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) are struggling over which body between the two parties has the responsibility of issuing media accreditation and tags for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Ghana and Zimbabwe.
The game takes place this Saturday at the Cape Coast sports stadium and according to the NSA about 120 journalists and media organizations have applied to them to be accredited for the match but the GFA is also conducting a similar process simultaneously.
“The national teams belong to the state and so the NSA is the body responsible for receiving accreditation applications and issuing them to those qualified.” Charles Amofa the Public Relations Officer of the NSA told Ashh FM in Kumasi.
As at Wednesday it is still unclear as to which body is fully in charge of the accreditation process.
